Forge the Paths Ahead

A million charted and a billion uncharted ways

lie before me

Some, my horrors

Some, my dreamland’s fantasy

But the horror is on every path

Entwined like mind is to heart

But there’s fun too

And just as many blues

Fantasies come true

I know that better than anyone

Rainbows come out of slimy puddles

I assure you, they do.

But my fears dwell within all the rainbows too

But I know now,

Along with the gloomy puddle

I also belong to the rainbow hues 

Far or close, I do not know

But I know that I have more friends than foe

So does everyone, they just don’t know.

The world is ugly

And yet it is lovely

Lovely dark and beautiful

I have seen it all

I have hope

Wherever to go

Whatever to feel

In the pursuits of the heart 

Lies happiness

My choices seal the deal

It is never too late

To change the prophetic fate

The keys lie amongst your fingers just see

It is only a matter of opening the gate.
