The Joyous Scars

Would I like the enthusiastic chubby girl who stares back at me from the still water?

Is it possible to love her?
She is eating her own heart
Surviving on her own flesh
Her mind spread before her like a bitter tart.

How can anyone love her?
A girl who holds her comb with trembling fingers
Whose teeth dig into her brains
scoring her worth for the frizzy strands

Love is unconditional
frizzy strands or scars,
it stays
beyond the face even when it's dismal

Beauty is a joy forever
a joy forever when its dug from deep down the surface
a joy transient when it is judged from sight
then it leaves no trace

The conditional beauty is haunting
its fears of our consciousness are daunting
hands and acts take us far
and so, embrace every scar.

Love those scars
From the reflection,
point out the joys I seek
cause joy lives in mistakes,
in troubles and delights,
because of this,
we all stand unique.
